Face the sun and you'll never see shadows is the musical project of Derek Brantley and Gregg Pirillo. 

Formed in New Jersey after the disbandment of another NJ band, Mynuskris, 'Face the sun..' is decidedly more melodic and melancholy, drawing inspiration from groups such as The Beach Boys, The Notwist, Elliott Smith, Massive Attack, The Beatles, The Clientele, Portishead, and Phil Spector's Wall of Sound.
